Back-End Developer

Sometimes, you stumble upon something that’s just never been done before… Did you study in computer sciences or any kind of data analysis environment? We’re looking for someone who’s going to break new ground while working with our scientific partners. Simulation, analytics, data manipulations, projections and models, you’ll get state of the art tools to do state of the art stuff. This posting is a bit special and because there’s regulations involved, only Canadian nationals will be considered. But don’t fret, we may end up needing more than one person on this project, so do send us your application nevertheless.

Profile :

  • Degree/training in computer sciences or relevant experience
  • Solid knowledge of simulation and analysis tools such as MatLab, Xcos, Simulink and the likes
  • Initiative, multitasking and time management skills
  • Literacy in one or more of these programming languages :
    • PostgreSQL, MySQL
    • Python / Django
    • C, C++, C#
  • Knowledge, studies or experience in one or more of the following topics :
    • Distributed Energy Ressources (DER)
    • Demand-Response Management Systems (DRSM)
    • Instant Load Managers (ILM)
    • Embedded systems
    • IoT architectures
    • Consumer electronics
    • Energy management systems
    • HVAC systems
    • Electric generation/transport/distribution

Additional requirements :

CaSA works in both French and English, proficiency in both languages is mandatory.
